Alan Foster Whitten's Personal Retirement Website
I am retired from University of Alabama in Huntsville.

 I will be transferring content here soon. 

 

I currently live northwest of Athens, Alabama in a small home on a bluff overlooking the Elk River. As I make time I will be experimenting with this website as I attempt to get more proficient at using Office Live's capabilities in creating and maintaining a web presence.

I recently created two other Office Live websites:
http://deadlockinvestigations.com for my brother-in-law, Charles Maddocks and http://JackReedyConsulting.com for a friend of my sister-in-law.


I have considered giving this site up as a personal website and converting it into a contact site for anyone named "Alan Whitten." If that is your name and you are interested in allowing folks who find it when they"google" your name, let me know what type of contact information you would like listed.


I could also link to Whitten genealogy information if I hear from anyone Alan Whittens who think that might be useful.

I had hoped to populate my site with information of interest and entertaining to anyone with common interests. 

My 26+ years of service at UAH are almost over. Most recently I was the business college's Director of Information Systems.
